My brother- and sister-in-law liked this place so much, they recommended it and went back with a group of 11 of us a couple days later. A few of our number consider themselves all-you-can-eat Maryland crab connoisseurs, and they agree that this is their new...More

All of the food was great. My personal favorite was the cream of crab soup, but you could order anything and it would be delicious. The crabs were great, (and the sweet potato fries). The service was amazing because everyone was so nice and fast,...More

10 adults, two children, and one toddler. A recipe for restaurant disaster. Not here! Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Ali, was great. Appetizers were brought out in a timely manner. Regular and large sized crabs were slightly bigger than expected, reasonably priced...More

Had lunch here. Ordered soft shell crabs. It was a little slow arriving to the table. The server was attentive and friendly. The soft shell crabs were just ok. They were smaller than expected and needed a little more crispiness. Seasoning was good.

We went on a Saturday night for dinner, and our meal cost $126 including tip for three of us (two adults and a child). The food was good, cooked appropriately, and the wait staff was nice. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks, but the...More

Soft shell crab side of Caesar salad. Salad was very large and good. Took 1/2 home. Soft shells were dissapointing. No claws on 3 of the 4 crabs, too salty, not enough seafood seasoning taste.

My family & I arrived just before 5pm, so there was plenty of seating available. Our server Hayley (sp* sorry!) was efficient and polite. We ordered multiple appetizers- steamed shrimp, lobster Mac-N-Cheese, a bowl of cream of crab, and the crab pretzel- they were all...More

We have been going to here for 30 years. Now under new ownership and the interior has been redone. The result is that it is so loud you literally have trouble having any kind of conversation. The food remains the same though each year you...More

Description
Notably the last restaurant on Coastal Highway in Fenwick Island, Delaware before entering Ocean City, Maryland, Delaware may have saved the best for last. The award winning Fenwick Crabhouse has been an icon in the resort for almost 50 years. Though being named a "favorite seafood dive in the US" for an unprecedented fourth straight year by Coastal Living Magazine, the Fenwick Crabhouse is hardly a dive. While the atmosphere is casual, they have an appealing menu of carefully prepared meals catering to a variety of tastes. You will find great wines, craft beers, their hallmark "The Perfect Crab cake" (NY Times), Delaware Magazine's 2011 "Best Ribs," and of course, those wonderful steamed crabs. Their mission is to provide a unique blend of creatively prepared dishes using fresh, locally grown foods and award-winning beverages to the table. The Fenwick Crabhouse is a seasonal restaurant off-season hours change before Memorial Day and after Labor Day. Call for hours.
