We went on a Sunday as it was the only place open in Saint Girons, the service was great, the Lamb Rack was amazing and highly recommended. I would go back to this restaurant any day. It also seem very popular with the locals. Brilliant

At lunch time and on Saturdays, after the town market, the Saint Gi serves a fixed menu…always inventive and starting with a soup (formerly a tradition almost everywhere in France). The restaurant is bustling so it is better to reserve and not be in a hurry… In the Spring and summer you can enjoy your meal outside on a flowered... More

Not the best in Saint girons but very acceptable. We ate outside on a warm pleasant day under a canopy . Saturday is a busy day in Saint girons as it is market day , so service was slow. The 3 course menu of the day did give choices and was good value for money. Best to eat mid day... More

Sat in the outside courtyard and enjoyed a family lunch. Very friendly staff and good food. We ordered most things off the fixed menu and were impressed - especially with the guinea fowl (pintade)

This restauraunt was recommended to us by our B&B and although there was nothing majorly wrong with the food we were served it did not impress us. Reading other reviews I think we must have been there on an off night as there were only 3 other groups eating there. We were seated in the rather run down outside seating... More

This is a great addition to Saint Girons. Well priced food, fantastic ambience, clearly popular with locals and lovely menu. We went along on spec for lunch and were clearly lucky to get a table - reservations seem to be a must. The carte du jour at €12 was superb.

Very good dinner with my son with excellent soup to start with (though it wasn't hot), decently filling sale starters and we had the canard and the steak. Canard very good. Steak cooked just right but a little chewy. All local meat. Overall very good experience.

Thanks to Tripadvisor yet again ! Saint-Girons was a convenient lunch stop for us between rental properties and this place had good reviews and parking close by so we'd picked it out as the place to eat. Despite being fairly experienced with French restaurants even we were a bit dubious about this one due to the rather back street feel... More

Great place to sample some quality regional cuisine; all the dishes we tried were good including fried prawns, goats cheese salad, snails and baked eggs to start and mains of lamb rack, veal cutlet, fish pie, fish platter and scallops. Very welcoming host and good selection of local wines, highly recommended.

We found this little restaurant by chance one night and were so glad we did. The charming host greeted us and sat us where we wanted. The menu is small but varied with all local ingredients. Once ordered we were offered a bowl of broth while we waited and all food was cooked to order. The food was delicious especially... More
