It was busy when we arrived, so we went to the bar--good service but so noisy you couldn't hear yourself think. We were then seated (fairly quickly) in a quiet area in a booth. My husband enjoyed his burger, but my chicken was not terribly...More

Thank you for reviewing us! Glad your husband and friends enjoyed their meals. Please email me details on the waiter's lack of service so I can address this. Thank you! valhallacrossing@aol.com

There's a lot that sets this diner apart: Big booths, lots of space between other customers, warm, friendly, efficient service, and huge portions of excellent food, oh- and a train passes directly in front of the big picture window several times an hour, which is...More

I went to the Valhalla Crossing for the first time with friends. I read the reviews and was looking forward to the burgers. We ordered coconut shrimp, mozzarella sticks and a pretzel for appetizers. The shrimp was greasy and the sauce terrible, the mozzarella sticks...More

Hi Jak - Thank you for reviewing The Crossing. The server should have gotten you a new shrimp appetizer with a different sauce - sorry that didn't happen. We do not put any seasonings or fillers in our burgers as many people have gluten, sodium,...More

We decided to try this place and was pleasantly surprised. Tried the onion, mushroom and cheese quesadilla appetizer which turned out to be a giant portion of food - two 12 inch tortillas stuffed full (in fact, there were a few too many onions for...More

Thank you for the 4-star rating and great review! Glad you enjoyed your visit to The Crossing! Some customers forget that there are other guests who go out to dinner to relax and don't want to be distracted by their loudness. It's simple courtesy. Hope...More

This visit last night was very good. The flat iron steak was wonderful (along with mashed ). Had to send the house wine back and ordered a name brand. The parking is a problem. Elderly have to be extremely careful with traffic coming both ways.
