My family and I grew up going to Verdiles, back when Mike and his wife, Norma, ran it. Needless to say, it has been a long love affair with this wonderful restaurant. Sadly, that is no longer the case. Mr, Verdile (Mike) passed away, and I must say, the class, integrity, and great food went with him. My husband and... More

I've been coming here since I was kid and it still doesn't disappoint. The staff are professional and very friendly!! I love the pizza they put out when waiting in the bar area as well as the many different dishes I've had.

I enjoyed a meal with my family the Friday prior to Christmas. I truly enjoy this restaurants old world Italian cuisine. I had the layered veal and eggplant parm which is a favorite of mine at this restaurant. They give you large portions and everything is reasonably priced. They even had a Grinch Santa Suit that was very good. He... More

Reminds me of Sitting down to Sunday sauce with my Italian family. Portions are generous and the food is delicious. The veal parm is the best around!

My husband & I were not let down! I had the Linguini with Red Sauce & a side of meatballs, & he had their Chicken Parmigiana. We left satisfied & with enough leftovers for another meal! We will be back soon, especially for the new family sized dinners to go! 👌🏻🍝🍷

stopped in for dinner before heading to a show at Troy music hall - food was good with ample portions and I enjoyed the sauce . unusual for an Italian eatery not to include a salad with the meal / entrée . it could be a better experience if they allowed the waiters to wait & service the patrons instead... Back in the day, the sauce was outstanding. The meatballs were to die for! So much has changed, not because Mr. V has died but the loyalty to good Italian food is not in the generations. The place is always packed, I am assuming they have never experienced a nice red gravy!

I had been to this place once before and was highly impressed with the eggplant parmigiana, so much so that i went out of my way to revisit it. It was not the same. Instead of the nicely layered dish that the best Italian restaurants offer, Verdile's served it in cutlets that just didn't cut it. There is no comparison... More

Wonderful meal in downtown Troy. Waiters wear tuxedos but casual wear is ok (no tshirts) and families are welcome. Our three year old did very well, no problems. Parking is available, but somewhat limited. We had the lasagna, which I highly recommend.

Verdiles is a local restaurant that goes back a long way. My family has been going to Verdiles for a long time, and we've enjoyed every visit. The pizza and Italian dishes are always great, as is the Chicken Verdile. If you have room after that, try out their huge desserts. The atmosphere has a very old-fashioned feel to it,... More
