While staying at the hotel, I had lunch in Cellar 49. Not only are the grounds spectacular and the hotel so comfortable, the lunch was out of this world. I opted to eat at the bar and my order (my delicious sandwich) came out in...More

Great experience if you can do the restaurant week menu, do so great value and huge portions. Try the pork chop, big enough for 2

In the cellar of the old and stylish main restaurant building, Cellar 49 discourages children, so be aware if travelling in family groups. It is brick-walled, leather-upholstered and exudes a clubby and charming atmosphere. The bar lady greeted us with a fixed scowl, no eye...More

Excellent food and staff, impeccable, beautiful surroundings, and our server Paul went above and beyond, especially great deal of patience with our 5 year old!

Martinis were delicious. The fried avocado was interestiing and different. We had the wedge salad and onion soup, pork chop and scallops and enjoyed the Beau Roy sancerre. I think our server was Paul and he was delightful and knew a lot about the area....More

Paul was very helpful with the menu. Food was very very good. We had the 3 course meal. The Manhattan clam chowder was out of this world as well as the stake.
