Stopped in to get Pastabillies hot oil (they sell it) and some delicious bread. And the cookies are tremendous (and big). Turning into a "must stop" when we visit Syracuse. Check it out.

Local bakery famous for stretch bread. Provides bread to many local restaurants every day and to a host of families for holiday and party meals. Also has many speciality breads such as gorgonzola with onion. Perfectly delicious, and the smell on the street!
Landmark bakery for stretch bread to eat with hot oil, focaccia or a sandwich. On-site bakery ensures fresh baked goods.
Every bread we have tried there has been great. Each trip to Syracuse means a stop to the bakery to get bread to take home to Binghamton. The variety and the quality is outstanding.
I am from the San Franciso Bay. I know good bread. This place rocks! Loved the bread. Loved the cookies. Loved everything about this place!
I go here for bread regularly. Get there early around the holidays though - the line is out the door! It is always warm and yummy!
Grabbed a loaf from fresh bread and 3 jars of spicy hot tomato oil. I you have never had it I would say this is a bucket list item! Go immediately!

I went for lunch for the first time and got a sandwich to go. They are pre-made and chilled and served in a plastic clamshell. It was quick and efficient, but not very special. The bread is the best part. Park benches down the street are nice except for the smoking crowd that uses them.
