Recently attended a Clambake and the clams terrible... sand in everyone and they were so large that you couldn't chew them. I saw people eating one and throwing them out! They tasted like fish too. Many people said the same thing. The other food was just marginal... first time I ever attended a Clambake and when home hungry... I ate dinner... More

My 50th HS Reuion was held here and they did a great job. There was plenty of room for the 150+ crowd and plenty of food for all. Too many items to list but they even provided veggie burgers! Haven't had salt potatoes in years and theirs were perfect. Great time.

There were reservations made for both outside and inside in the event of rain. This place has a large hall out back which easily accommodated our large party of about 250-300 adults and an ample amount of picnic benches for outside eating. Inside had the buffet style food ready to go and it was delicious, the salt potatoes were great-... More

The food was great! We had Chicken which was exceptional! salt potatoes, which evidently is a local treat, the likes of which I have never tasted, and baked beans that quite honestly, were the best I have ever tasted. The service was friendly and exceptional!

I went to a clambake with some friends and have to say that it was excellent. The food was brought out right on time The lines were long but they had a lot of people. If you waited about 30 minutes you could go right up and choose what you wanted. Steamed and raw clams, steamed mussels, hot dogs, coney's,... More

I have to say I was worried about having a party here since I had dinner here back in May 2014 . I have to say that from setting up the party right to the end the staff was fantastic. We had about 65 people , Ziti, Meatball, salad greens and chicken and potatoes wedges No complaints whatsoever, everyone said... More

The Haddock sandwich is a treat. I have never had a bad meal at the Wheel. Portion sizes are good, food is fresh, and is delicious. Just make sure you have a few extra minutes if you go for lunch - you will wait a few extra minutes for your food, but it's definitely worth it.

Tonight I left this place without taking a drink of my beer or a bite of my lousy food because of the service I recieved by the very unoriffesional wait staff they would employ behind there bar. The Bartender at this backwoods establishment has no idea how to treat a customer so for these reasons I decided to take my... More

Have had the pleasure of having had the best Sauerbraten Dinner ever here a number of times. It was absolutely the most flavorful ever. Portions were good enough size that I've never eaten the whole serving.Meat was tender as it should be. The wait staff were very attentive and the restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. The bar... More
