Pastabilities would be a great restaurant if located New York, Montreal, anywhere. Excellent variety of dishes. Love the bread served with pepper tomato sauce! Were referred by our hotel, what a delicious find with great service. I loved the chicken rigis, substituted rigatoni with pappardelle. Spicy red sauce yumm. My wife loved her salmon, prepared to perfection. Both had leftovers,... More

Lenny saw the show on DD&D and wanted to try the Duck bacon flatbread pizza. So, we took a road trip. The staff that greeted us were fast and polite, as all the staff was. We waited 30 minutes and sat in the booth area, that was fun watching the wait staff work the food counter. The bread and house... More

No chain restaurant here! Pastabilities is an independent, one-and-only place (although there are other restaurants called "Pastabilities" throughout the US that we have no affiliation with). Thank you for stopping by, and we hope to see you again! More

After seeing this restaurant on DD&D we decided to stop on our way to Vermont. We arrived around 6PM and waited just over 50 min for a table. (We were told 30-40 min) We shared a lasagna dinner and salad and an order of their cheesy garlic bread. Everything was wonderful. I especially liked the raspberry poppy seed dressing on... More

Fun place to have a bite and a brew. Very friendly wait staff, sometimes crowded, of course. But we were seated faster than we thought we might be. The menu is filled with interesting takes on traditional Italian -- not your typical Italian-American place. Indeed, it is more like eating in Italy where chefs understand the basics and experiment from... More

I rate restaurants for Zagat for restaurants in NYC and Long Island, not generally in upstate NY. This establishment changed that , I needed to let the dining public know about this place . This restaurant is worth driving out of your way ,period. It is phenomenal. Food is great, service great and ambiance great. Get the drift, this place... More

When we decided to come to Syracuse for a dance competition, our first step was to find out what the most talked about places to eat were. It is no surprise that Pastabilities at Armory Square takes the top spot. We arrived early on a Friday night - hoping to beat the crowds. We were seated immediately by the host... More

I visited yesterday after some work at the office. The line was out the door. I didn't care. I got the Chicken Riggies, Hot Tomato sauce and TWO bread rolls (because one isn't enough to dip). This place lives up to the hype, it is delicious and the cafeteria style lunch keeps the line moving. Make sure you get a... More

Ok, we didn't have a reservation on a Friday night, but they don't take them. It's a popular place, as Guy Fieri ate and filmed there. There was a 30min wait, not bad and the hostess was very nice. When another girl came to bring us to our table she didn't say two words to us (maybe a "follow me"?)... More

I ate the pizza here and it was excellent. It had proscuito. and a pomegrante drizzle that was delicious. My husband ate a spicy pasta dish that he loved at well.

We went for a lunch with a group of people from a daytime conference. The food and atmosphere were phenomenal. We ordered a small personal pizza with cheese and a Cesar salad to share. The food was the best we have had. It was so simple but the very best. The atmosphere for lunch was casual and a little bit... More
