After having dinner at a popular restaurant in Armory Square we decided to try Bittersweet after hearing such wonderful reviews. We weren't disappointed. The server was very friendly and the desserts were delectable. I would recommend this nice place.

Lunch here with coworkers. The Panini's were outstanding but wow the desserts were awesome! We'll be back.

My boyfriend and I went here for a late dinner and had a fabulous time. The room had dimmed lights and it was very cozy. Nothing fancy, so don't go here if you're looking for fine dining. The food tasted great, and their desserts even better! I thought it was a great place to go for a date and cant... More

We visited Bittersweet after dining in armory square tonight. We were lucky to find nearby on street parking. The interior is warm and cozy on this frigid January night.soft music was not intrusive . There are a number of tables along the wall and a long bar . There were a couple of couples , one party of 8 and... More

Limited food options but terrific desserts and wines. Liked the wine options - can order wine as a tasting (2 oz), glass (5oz), or bottle.

Overall the food experience while in Syracuse has been disappointing, so last night when we came across Bittersweet while walking after an "okay" dinner we had a fabulous experience! The Flourless Chocolate Cake was hands down the best I've ever had. Creamy, light, smooth, rich chocolate cake melting in the mouth, served with an airy whipped cream and strawberries lightly... Bittersweet is a tiny place that's hard to find, though it's just half a block off Salina, the main street, downtown Syracuse. I like the classy wine-bar interior and the wall decor--photos of their desserts, "posed" at various local places. The desserts are beautiful, beautifully presented, and big. They don't have a lot of flavor, however. I've tried the Tiramisu,... More

For a wine bar, the selection was a bit pedestrian. And being a wine and dessert bar they should focus more on having wines pair better with the desserts.

A gem. Perfect hangout with or without dinner. Classy, comfortable and one of the beast value restaurants I've ever visited. A+

This little place is easy to look past, but please do not! I am not a wine drinker, but always wanting to try. This place was perfect. You can order 2 oz glasses for an extremely reasonable price. I was planning to do that, until my server gave me a sample of the Cavit Moscoto. WOW never had a wine... More
