Went to Union College grad school over 40 years ago and drove by this for 45 years and went there for the first time ever this second week April 2017. Very good sandwich at a fair price. Worth a visit. the Doctor hit me with a helpful vote!

Dynamite cold cuts, fresh, tasty, can't be beat. Paired with awesome German potatoe salad and best slaw ever, topped with fresh garlic pickle.... It doesn't get any better!

Gershon's has been my go-to deli for over 20 years. The food is consistently delicious and the huge portions usually mean left-overs for another meal too. My favorite deli - ever!

We loved all the food: sandwich, salad, and mac n cheese. Don't be dissuaded by the latter's presence on the kids menu, as it was very tasty for adults as well. We went on a Friday for lunch, and the place was packed. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Plenty of dessert options; we took ours home for lack of room!... More

Gershwin's is a fabulous Schenectady deli. It is located on Upper Union St. with limited parking and tends to be very busy, which demonstrates how great the food is! The seating area is small, and tables can be shared, so be prepared for coziness! But the food is delicious-there is a great deli menu, the selections are quite varied, and... More

We loved the deli sandwiches, try the ruben or the roast beef! Also they serve Perreca's bread which is just great. Also try the matzo ball soup, it is very yummy!

Gershon's is a top notch old school Jewsih Deli. The meats are fresh and perfectly prepared. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had the Corned Beef and Pastrami Double on Rye and it was pure heaven on a plate. Hard to find a high quality Jewish Deli in upstate NY but Gershon's definitely fits the bill!! Can't wait until... This is an excellent deli. A tad pricey on some things, but well worth it. Their selection is amazing, and anything & everything you choose is top quality, fresh, and delicious.

While I prefer the Union Cafe just up the block, Gershon's has been a consistently good place to eat for over 40 years. We especially enjoy the soups and the deli sandwiches. The tables my be a little close for some - but you will get a great mea

Located on Upper Union Street Schenectady, NY, this deli has been in operation for at least 60 years. Jewish owned and operated, and who knows the deli business better than Jewish folk. Although they do have a few tables to sit there and eat, most patrons go there to bring home the most amazing cold cuts, salads and breads, found... More
