We visited Miss Lucy's on a Wednesday. I called ahead and was told no reservation was needed for a party of 5. I was also told the restaurant is not crowded on Wednesdays. This turned out to not be the case. Every table was occupied....We were seated in a timely fashion and were given menus. Three of us wanted the listed hamburger meal but were told they didn't have any hamburger. We then ordered the BLT on a ciabatta roll. We waited over an hour for our meals. The rolls that came with the BLT were extremely hard and very difficult to eat. We had to take our sandwiches apart and eat them in pieces. When the hardness of the rolls was mentioned the server her response was "that's because they are made in house". As we were leaving one couple in our party ordered 2 desserts to go. Upon opening the container in the car one of the desserts was not what was ordered. That dessert was returned for the correct one. No compensation was offered. We all decided we would not return to Miss Lucy's Kitchen again.More

Our family of 3 was passing by Saugerties on our way back to NYC and decided to do a little tour of the town and their nearby waterfall. Miss Lucy's is ranked the #1 restaurant in town and we wanted to try it out. The...restaurant definitely delivered on their #1 ranking. The food and service was great. My fish and chips was just delicious. The fried calamari was just perfect. My wife had pita bread with 3 different dips. Our young daughter had the grilled cheese with tomato soup. All the food was cooked very well. Recommended!More

So pleased that we stopped here on our way home from skiing! We sat at a cozy candlelit table and were immediately greeted by a friendly server. We enjoyed a delicious pisco sour cocktail followed by homemade bread and some of the best French Onion...I've ever had (Rich and flavorful beef stock, perfectly broiled cheese, and bite sized bread in the soup. Brilliant!). We then shared a fried chicken dinner and bread pudding with a cherry and sour cream ice cream. Both were absolutely delicious and just the right size. I would come back here in a heartbeat! Perfect date night spot!More

A very casual old farmhouse look with delicious food. The spinach, garlic and artichoke dip was the best we ever had especially with the ciabatta bread nicely toasted for dipping. We also had the fried chicken with honey sauce and biscuit which was terrific.

My husband stayed at a lovely AirB&B a few minutes away from Miss Lucy’s! We made reservations for the last night of our stay and we were not disappointed! The chicken liver pâté is a must as a starter and make sure to pick out...one of their special house cocktails too! My skirt steak was perfectly cooked and deliciously flavorful over a carrot risotto cake! Topped with greens, balsamic and blue cheese YUM! My husband loved his duck dish too! We hope to return in the future!More

We live in Southern CT and our sister lives in Saratoga Springs - we decided to meet half-way for a Sunday lunch and decided Saugerties was a good option. After reviewing Trip Advisor I stumbled upon Miss Lucy's and it spoke to me - "this...is the place" it said. It was right! What an absolutely delightful experience we had. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and comfortable and loved the warm, casual and rustic atmosphere. Great bar, nice artwork and a really fun menu - plus lots of good specials, as well as great beer selection. The staff are all absolutely lovely and welcoming and professional and attentive. Nothing pretentious - just great casual service. We had the flatbread, along with Brussels sprouts, the brisket sandwich and the pappardelle. All were excellent - especially the pappardelle - and the Brussels sprouts were perfect. And all for a super reasonable price. Not sure when I will ever be back in Saugerties again - but if I am, I will go back to Miss Lucy's. Great Place.More

The pulled pork tacos, buttermilk fried chicken and fish and chips were all awesome! The fried chicken came with this lovely biscuit and a hot honey sauce that was out of this world and really original. Service was outstanding. We will be back!

Rarely tasted food that's so delicious. The burrata with pears is a must. The tomato soup was so good I almost wanted a second helping. We had buttermilk chicken and brisket sandwiches. You should get the salad. That salad is so tasty it really spoiled...any other salad for me. Then, almost on a whim, we had autumn creme brulee for desert. Wow that was wonderful as well. Excellent meal.More

There is always a vegetarian entree and a couple appetizers, but might not be vegan depending on the night. Just call to confirm - you'll want to make a reservation anyway.
