It was my first time there and I gotta tell you I'm impressed. The food was exceptionally good huge portions. The Hibachi chef was outstanding fun and talented. I will definitely return.

I have always enjoyed coming here for lunch or dinner, as the food is always so good. If you are going to make a reservation, decide in advance whether you want to eat on the hibachi side or the regular dining side. (The hibachi side is harder to get seating.) I had the same "sushi dinner" I always have here.... More
This is an extraordinary place to get sushi without dishing out half of your paycheck. The rolls are always fresh and the service is pleasant. This is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the Rochester area.
They were very busy the day I visited but I still got good service. The food was tasty, high quality, and well cooked - but nothing special. You won't be disappointed, but you won't be thrilled.
We went for dinner and ordered Sushi, miso soup and kimchi. The Sushi both hot and batter fried and raw fish was fresh and tasty. The Miso soup was authentic and delicious. Kimchi was not as tasty cold--I took it home heated it with chicken to make a spicy Korean meal. Food is very good but slightly pricey. Their Korean... More
Sakura Home is (and has always been) as superb place to get sushi or hibachi in Rochester. The decor is fabulous inside, and is very tastefully done in both major room. The bar up front is a bit "in-the-way" of the waiting room area, but not many people use the bar as anything but a place to wait anyway. For... More
Hadn't been to a hibachi restaurant in ages. It was a lot of fun and so much food I still have rice left from 3 days ago. Walked from the Comfort Inn. Also got a $14 discount from groupon.(spend $16 get $30) Even without discount 2 meals and 4 drinks only $60.
This is a typical hibachi/sushi place, but they do have a nice cozy decor and a pleasant bar with a piano. We had drinks at the bar before dinner and chose to eat in the dining room rather than at the hibachi tables even though we ordered hibachi dinners. The prices are a dollar or two higher than many places... More
We came here for lunch with our "out-to-lunch" gang a couple weeks ago. It is always good food here, although the price is getting a little steep for a lunch meal. (Averages around $16-17, without alcoholic beverages.) Still, it is very good, and the setting is quiet and peaceful. I recommend the sushi dinner, which is tasty and filling, and... More
