Stopped in for lunch on our way across the state. 4 star rating? Diners at home all have homemade food. This one had frozen chicken patties, ok burger (I expected a handmade patty), and fries from a bag. We were hoping for much better food. The place was fairly busy with locals. Service was good, but we won't be back.

Breakfast was tasty and filling. Service was super. Really nice to be in a restaurant where the children of the staff have breakfast before school. Also nice - a car drove up and the waitress poured coffee and put out the newspaper before he got out of the car. Made me wish I lived there.

After traveling on Rt20 out to Bockville NY to pick up items from an auction . We had been behind a long line of trucks . Pulled off for breakfast and found a real delight . A full home cooked meal that filled the plate ..

If you want a clean, affordable, authentic diner you don't need to look further. Located on Rte 20, which was the main thoroughfare in the central New York before NYS thruway. We had a hearty breakfast for two of eggs, hash brown, stake, oj and a lot of cofee. All just under $25!

Was out with our realtor and had time to kill to our next appointment so we stopped in here. The food was very good. It's a small place but very pleasant. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We would go back. My husband got a triple decker turkey and I got the fried fish sandwich special.

This is a traditional diner with average to above average food. It is a hangout for locals. The prices are reasonable

Staying in the motel next door, it was snowing and this was the nearest place to eat. Looked a bit shabby from the outside but go in and it's lovely. Great food, cheap and heaps of it. Good menu as well. Would recommend.

We checked into the motel next door after a day of driving, the only place that looked welcoming was the Tally-Ho Restaurant. We were shown to a table immediately, the menu had a good selection of food at reasonable prices. Our drinks order was taken very quickly, our food came very quickly as well. It arrived very hot and well... More

The food was good--so good we went back the next morning of our two day stay. The waitress kept our cups full of coffee and overall she was polite without being nosy. The food was wonderful--we'd definitely eat here again.

We stopped here for lunch as we were passing through upstate New York on Route 20. The food was nicely prepared and tasted good. I had a grilled bacon, cheese & onion sandwich; hubby had a Reuben. Both were served quickly. Our server, however, was rather unpleasant and never stopped back to offer drink refills or dessert. We paid with... More
