Quite frankly this is the only ice cream place you ever need to visit. It’s not a question of if you should go, but how many times per week. It is a Hudson Valley institution.
When we arrived the line was out the door and into the parking lot! We hesitated but decided to give it a chance. Surprisingly the line moved fairly quickly and once inside we noticed there was plenty of help to accommodate the large crowd. Pricing...was fair and flavors were plenty.. stop by and don't worry about the line...it's long for a good reason!More
Busy but staffed properly for giving good service. The site was clean and neat both inside and out. We were visiting from out of state and have not found an option of hard ice cream at some of our stops.
I work in a camp nearby and have the opportunity to indulge when ever I like.
We purchase all of our birthday cakes from Holy Cow for our campers Birthdays. About 35 -45 cakes each summer. It is crazy the lines out the doors no...joke 25-30 people at a clip. The staff is fast, courteous and creative. You dream it they make it.
I have been there in March with freezing temperatures and there is a line out the door.
When you thought it was to cold, uh uh not at Holy Cow!!
Go enjoy cause HOLY COW that’s not just any ice cream it’s a HOME RUNMore
Lots of choices of ice cream flavors and both hard and soft types.
Don't come here looking for healthy alternatives! You won't find any no sugar, low sugar, frozen yogurt, or other types that are less full of sugar and fat. Consider this place an...occasional diet splurge because it certainly is just that. I had it in place of lunch, not following lunch.
I went with the mint chocolate chip sundae. If it's hot outside, the sundaes in a cup are a lot less messy than cones. There are no places to sit or stand and eat inside in the AC so your cone will melt in a few minutes and drip off your elbow.More
