Went with my wife for an early dinner yesterday. My expectations of a flavorful and spicy meal was not met. The curried rice didn’t have any flavor, aroma nor taste of curry. The crabmeat in the fried rice was fake crabmeat. My wife had to...More

We are very spoiled by living very close to and exceptional Thai restaurant. So, the standards by which we judge Thai restaurants are pretty high. This one we found to be above average, but not among the best. The dishes were a bit too oily...More

Fried rice noodle with squid tasted a bit strange, and the squid is not as fresh as you get in Thailand. Tom yam goong was actually quite nice, although not spicy enough. Overall not to bad by considering it is in Poughkeepsie

Great, fresh, authentic Thai food. Can order on line too. Love the dumplings, so tasteful. Have enjoyed every dish I tried.

Thai Spice is a nice looking restaurant conveniently located by Vassar College. The portions were a nice size for the price, however, both my wife and I found the taste just average. The service matched the quality of the food.

Delicious, Reasonably Priced, Generous Portioned, Nice Variety, Open Late, Friendly Thai Restaurant. Good variety. I always love lime juice/fish sauce dishes - Larb, Yum Woon Sen. Noodle dishes with pork were good. Nice reasonable wine selection. This is first time here, since we don't live...More

Visiting family and staying in town we decided to skip the downtown "bistro" scene and get Thai food. Located the closest Thais spots on Yelp and headed out not knowing the location. Always good, cheap eats near colleges! We ended up at Thai Spice and...More

Located in the Vassar College neighborhood of Poughkeepsie, Thai Spice could easily become one of our regular spots. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable for the quality and environment. Service was efficient and professional, but not friendly. One server was covering the entire floor...More

Ate here recently for a business dinner. Was much higher class than I thought it would be. Charming relaxing atmosphere. Started with the Tom Ka Gai soup, which was mediocre, holding this place back from 5 stars. The rice wrapped summer rolls were heavy on...More
