Stumbled across this gem of a restaurant while passing through Poughkeepsie on our way to dropping our son off at Vassar. The ambience is exactly like favorite brasserries we had experienced on our trip to Paris - red banquettes, black and white tiles and mirrors...More

We stopped here for lunch after a tour of the Eleanor Roosevelt house. It’s a “French bistro” vis a vis Balthazar and others in NYC and elsewhere. Pleasant decor, lots of space. We had excellent escargot to start. My husband had a delicious smoked salmon...More

Visited on 12/29/17 for lunch and brunch on 12/31/17. Service was attentive, food excellent on both occasions. The onion soup and bisque were both served hot the way they should be, frites were outstanding as were the sandwiches. We will definitely return!

A true bistro with great food, wine and friendly service. We have gone there twice during our short stay in Poughkeepsie and will be going back for sure each time we visit. We would be regulars if we lived there.

Ambience is fantastic including the antic medical cabinets in the bathrooms. Has a New York City subway station/bistro theme with white tiled walls, industrial light fixtures, tall tin ceilings, red leather booths, huge mirrors over the booths,bar/counter in the front. A draw for local business...More

I met two friends for brunch on a Sunday morning here and it was a pleasure. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and just right (coming by often enough but not too much) and the atmosphere was bright and lovely. I had the...More

Wonderful atmosphere and excellent fare. The French onion soup and mussels are particularly delicious but all food was well prepared.

My husband and I ate here with another couple on a Friday night, and we all chose from the special “prix fixe” Hudson Valley Restaurant Week menu. The restaurant was crowded, so the waitstaff was harried (but still polite) - working hard to do the...More
