I've never been there during the day when it is apparently a coffee/sandwich bar. But I've been there frequently on weekend evenings when they have wonderful, mostly NY area musicians. Most of the acts are jazz (from bebop to Latin), but they also have reggae and folk acts. It's a small, cozy room, with excellent sound. They have a modest... More

We went to hear a live all Female Jazz band on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. The place is really small you are seated at a table with other patrons. The food is sandwich/café type of food, reasonably priced and pretty tasty. Service was outstanding. The young woman that waited on us was awesome. About 45 minutes from... More

This is a great small club. These are high quality jazz musicians and this is a listening room. These is very little side conversation. there is no bar. So there is no bar noise. QUALITY MUSIC. Oh yea, the food and drink are terrific.

I've been coming here for about two years and their sandwiches & smoothies are the best. They're also really convenient for calling ahead and picking up a quick lunch.

I've been to the Bean Runner Cafe a couple times. It's a mixture of a coffee house and restaurant. The coffee is okay, but not as good as the Peekskill Coffee House practically next door. The food is not particularly good. The ambiance is really weird--half is a dining area akin to a restaurant, which seems a bit cold and... More

Food, atmosphere, people. Perfect trifecta of awesomeness. Order anything and you'll love it because it's made with care and precision. The coffee is spot on as well. Sometimes they have music or open mics and the back patio lends a nice touch.

Never quite sure if I should order at the register or what? The table service is very slow. The food is good. Espresso very good. I love that they open their stage/doors to the local talent for open mics and present art from local artists for sale on the walls. Nice community feel. Just wish the "service" was a little... More

Very cool place for entertainment and a bite to eat and a little drink as well. Owner is always there and friendly. Entertainment is varied from Jazz to Jamaican Reggae. Pretty easy to get in even without a reservation. Definitely recommend you check this place out.

I have popped in here for coffee and a snack every so often. My friend and I stopped by for breakfast one morning. Food was excellent and very good coffee and they didn't rush us out the door.
