The reason I'm not doling out five stars is because the restaurant was too loud and cramped when I visited for brunch on Sunday morning. Everyone around us was in their twenties and shouting, which raised the noise-level past tolerable for me. Otherwise, the fare was quite good, and I enjoyed my malawach, a Yemenite bread dish that has been... More

We were just there this morning. We love it there. It's quaint and has nice art for sale on the walls. We go fairly often. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.

My first visit to Art Cafe. Occasion was birthday of a friend, party of 5. I was surprised at the extensiveness of the menu. I had the American Breakfast. It was wonderful. Presented nicely, large portions, very fresh ingredients. All of us loved our food. The ambiance was artsy and hip. The cappuccino was very good, and presented with a... More

Delicious croissants & coffee. Eggs not so much. Not sure what happened but from the looks of it cheese was melted on the eggs & it might have been done in the microwave for too long. I felt as though I was eating a sponge. Service just ok, but in their defense it started to get really crowded all at... More

Went for brunch yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was busy, as to be expected on a Sunday at noon. We were seated in a reasonable amount of time, and the service, while not speedy, was relaxed and fine. Friendly, unobtrusive server. I was with a good friend and happy to have the time to catch up. Food was wonderful,... More

How can you not love a café with good food, great beverages AND art? I love the atmosphere there, the staff is always friendly, the music is nice and it's not expensive. I'm always so comfortable there, I could spend hours there just spending time with friends/family and have lots and lots of coffee. 😁 I can highly recommend the... More

A delightful little restaurant suitable foor vegetarians. The food is fresh and the portions are enough to take away left overs. My favorite are the rice bowls but the salads are also a taste treat.

Great selection of healthy dining options. As the name suggests it's a bit off the wall. Friendly and helpful staff and tables notified by text.

We've been to Art Cafe many times and the food has always been excellent and fresh. The food is unique and tasty. I've had the rice bowl, the malawach (a pastry crust filled with various cheeses), and a tostini (grilled cheese on an Israeli bagel). All of the items were delicious and very fresh tasting. The little salads included are... More

Art Cafe's cuisine is inspired by the many coffee shops that you might find in the streets of Tel Aviv and Europe, with a mix of traditional Israeli recipes and some new creative flavors. Not only do we have a passion for great taste but we also focus on food being healthy. We strongly believe in the phrase "you are what you eat" so we integrate Organic products wherever possible into our dishes. Our focus on such great quality and flavor has led us to Blue Bottle Coffee, a fully Organic and fresh brand of coffee based in Oakland, that pairs well with many of our dishes.
