We were given a recommendation to eat here. Although it does not have an ocean view don't let that stop you from trying it. The ambiance of the restaurant is great with tables set with beautiful fresh flowers and surrounded by walls with candles. My favorite dish was the calamari appetizer made with pesto and pine nuts. Such a unique... More

Visited at night, the place is located in some very romantic little back streets. The little candles were lit in the walls and made the place low lit and so romantic. The food is pure greek but well cooked and delicious. Must visit when in santorini.

Simple meals took over half and hour to come out on a partially full night. And when they did, it was nothing worth waiting around for. Avoid the seafood pasta, leave it to the Italians. Grilled mushrooms were tasty but mean at 10 euros.

We were told this lovely, family owned and run, decidedly Greek jewel was the best food in Oia.Lunch our first day confirmed this.We ate there every night. The joyful welcoming, thoughtful suggestions, and generous time spent was actually the highlight of our 6 days in Santorini. Warm wishes to Spyros and his delightful family. Katherine Strickland

If you want to eat food of quality this is definitively the place. Great service (fast, hospitable, I felt at home) from waiters and owners, wonderful ambiance with candle lights , embroidered pillows (quite romantic actually although I went with my best friend). The chocolate mousse with orange is to DIE FOR!! The chef came to our table and when... More

In Oia for a few days, like everybody else who is interested in local and above all, healthy food, we read a lot of online reviews. Finally we came across a very interesting blog about vegan food in santorini. Hence: Candouni restaurant. Off the main street, quiet and beautiful setting, nothing like those crowded and overrated touristy places on the... More

We were referred to Candouni by some of the locals for a classy Greek dining experience in Oia and we were not disappointed. Classy rustic interior with a quaint garden for outdoor dining. Great friendly service which instantly made us feel welcome and comfortable. The staff were very attentive to all our needs and nothing was a problem. We started... More

I was there on first time on the island, at the end of Summer 2016. I saw Candouni for the first time, and I was totally excited, the environment was really wonderful, the staff very polite, and the menu was delicious with very good quality of meat and fish. I advise any traveler in Santorini, to get there, to taste... More
