We had a very nice experience here. Of especial note is the excellent service, the presentation of the food and the wine list. The latter is excellent with a good range of well priced Burgundy wines in addition to the local wines. The food was good rather than superb but overall it was quite good value. We will return next... More

This place is in a spectacular setting and the actual restaurant was indeed lovely. I went with great expectation and recommendation. The violet champagne aperitif was divine as was the melon amuse bouche. We chose the 50€ menu and began with scallops, they came with a chicory and grapefruit salad, beautifully presented and interesting to eat, but I wouldn't say... More

Great food and wine in a small village. This was a wonderful surprise, a top wack restaurant just 15 minutes from our house. If you go there: don't miss the cheese trolley, there's just about everything on it. We will be back. Peter

This was our best meal this year. We had just the half board menu but every course was stunning. We read later that the chef tries to combine sea and country, the Mediterranean Plate starter summarised this, local vegetables, grilled local peppers with mussels cooked like escargot, truly delicious. Staff very friendly even though we were 2 hours later than... More

A long and winding road that will take you pass Puillarence castle and some breathtaking views. Great food and wine. The cheese cart was something to remember for the rest of my life. Professional staff and a lovely house together with great company made it a memorable evening.

We were investigating the Chateaux near Carcassonne and had an overnight stop with dinner. The staff were charming, the hotel exterior beautiful, the room beautiful with recently refurbished en suite that was fantastic, and a great meal.

This restaurant is an experience not to miss. The service. ambience, decor, perfectly set background music and sheer professionalism was excellent and then there was the food!! Each dish was a work of art and tasted divine. A sensuous delight. This is the kind of experience you always dream of, only here it actually fulfills every wish. Two keen photographers... More

We had a marvellous Easter lunch today. The attention to detail is outstanding. The amuse-bouche was a shot of vegetable tartare, tomatoes, onion and cucumber in lightly seasoned olive oil. The chef made last minute changes to accommodate the fact that I don't eat meat by creating a special appetizer just for me, a pink beetroot and fresh goat cheese... More
