Loved the steamed clams in broth with crusty bread. Good local fish. I liked mine blackened. Oddly no fresh unsweetened iced tea; only a Pepsi product from a gun. A fun family setting with local historic photos. Dining room separate from bar, but does have high top tables in bar for eating while watching sports on large TVs

Was told we could sit in the dining area even though we made it clear we were only buying drinks, once we bought drinks we were asked to leave our table, when we complained the waiter and waitress got in our face and literally told my family and I that it was our problem. Can't believe that this is even... More

A Saturday night in the winter and still the place to go. A little overpriced for meal but you know it's good . Drinks are flowing , baked clams and wings , a must . Dessert lacking , pass on that . Warm and cozy . Go early to avoid the wait.

Stopped in with the family on a Sunday afternoon. The lunch menu was interesting and everyone was pleased with their orders. The new owners have revamped the decor but still retained some of the feel of the past. The menu is updated from their past offerings and as I said it is interesting. We will be back.

We stopped here after driving out to Montauk Point. We were promptly seated. Most everyone ordered variations of the fish sandwich, and were happy with it. In addition, the chowder, while not exactly traditional New England, had nice flavor. Only one oyster type was available, but it was delicious. The only thing we didn't care for was the sauce that... Still has the local tavern flavor, live music after 9, but now has a small and diversified menu, very delicious. Tried many different items on menus and all great from fresh fish to good steaks. Service even on a busy night concerned and professional. New chef really hit it out of the ballpark. I will return!!

Had the salmon, it was severely undercooked, I ate around the sides (I don't give food back), wifey had a salad, which was not awe inspiring. Service was really fast, maybe that was the problem, that they were in a rush to give us our food. People were nice, and the bar seemed like it was hopping for a November... More

The place has been updated. Gone are the smoke stained walls and ceilings. Good drinking bar. Nice big dining area. It can get crowded on the week ends.

20 years ago, my wife brought me here for a surprise birthday dinner and overnight stay at a local motel. It was wonderful because the food was spectacular and the prices were reasonable. It was a place frequented by fisherman and other locals who knew where to go for drinks and food. It changed a lot. It changed hands several... More
