Interesting place and concept. Seems out of place in upstate NY. Nice selection of beverages but kitchen seemed in disarray.

I have not visited the shop in NY, but I recently started ordering their tea online in March. I have found them to be very prompt shipping product, quick to answer questions and they have a wide selection of tea to satisfy many preferences. Customers offer their ratings of teas as well as the owner's description of the tea.

My wife loved it here. A very cute tea shop. We couldn't leave without buying some! The check out lady was very nice and attentive.

I took a friend to lunch here and we had a lovely time. There are not many tables, but the food is great and it is a wonderful atmosphere for conversation. A gift shop and a tea tasting room are also at the site. I love to buy loose, organic peppermint tea. There are so many varieties available for tasting.

Management needs to get their act together and fix the kitchen, what happened? It seems all of sudden the kitchen is out of sync, did they make major changes in the kitchen?

I found the brand at a spa in Ulster County. When I found out that there was a shop about an hour away from my house I was more than thrilled to go visit. The drive was very easy and the tea Tasting Room was absolutely fantastic. The girl behind the counter was very helpful and was able to guide... More

I stopped into the store after finding it accidentally. The staff were so friendly from the moment I entered. One woman helped me find exactly what I was looking for and made some other super recommendations. She was very knowledgeable, knew about the teas, and the differences between the different teas and kinds of bags they come in.

Fabulous teas to be purchased in their boutique, along with wonderful tea related items. Great little tea room for lunch.. Make believe you are in France. I am sure this was inspired by Marriage Freres... the owner is French.

My 5th trip through the Berkshires and was determined to go to Harney Tea. I have had the tea many times at restaurants and found it outstanding. Harney and Sons is in the delightful small town of Millerton NY. and I was the only tea drinker in our foursome. The front room has a "wall of tea chests" and I... More
