Obviously a local hangout. Waitress was friendly. Food was pretty good. We got breakfast. Our wait time from order to food on the table was way too long (25-30 minutes). For eggs, bacon, and home fries, that is too long. Place seems a little unclean and needs updated

Got the breakfast special. Place was busy and service slow, which isn't always. Sweet elderly man talked with us and wished us a happy thanksgiving. He talked with everyone in the diner. Made our breakfast more special.

We had a good lunch special...chicken sandwich and chili and it was good. Service was very good. Apparently it is a favorite place for locals. Honestly, it could use a facelift, or at least a good cleaning and painting. All in all it was fine.

Heading to the 1,000 Islands, we passed through Lowville around lunch time and we really enjoyed our meal at Lloyd's. Just good food with a local feel but we felt welcome!

Waitress friendly, lots of local folks - which was nice, food so-so, but place definitely could use some spruce-up!

Typical of diners, it's a place for locals which I love to try out. Lunch was mediocre, wouldn't stop again.

Lloyd's of Lowville is a traditional stop for our family on our way to Northern New York. Nestled on a triangle separating Routes 12 and 12D in Lowville, New York, it is an old fashioned diner offering up the typical bill of fare. However, their specialties include several different soups (my favorite is the split pea and ham) and fantastic... More

This is a hometown favorite with the locals more because it's a gathering place for truck drivers, etc. to get a cheap breakfast. You get a good amount of food in an old fashioned diner with booths, etc. but it's not very clean and is certainly not gourmet. They serve lunch and dinner as well.
