Have dine at Alobar for the second time while visiting Long Island City. Food and service continue to be great. This time tried the duck and the rib eye was both great. They have live music on Thursday's which add some ambiance.

Brunch was great, warm welcoming atmosphere, wonderful creative food. The maple bacon popcorn was a perfect appetizer. And it's always good when you ask for crispy fires and them come out crispy... I would definitely recommend Alobar....

Visiting NY, staying in LIC, after visiting Manhattan all say decided to stay local for dinner. Everything was great - both food and service. Enjoyed the pierogies, the pork dish and an alobar for dessert. All great. Good stop in LIC.

I ate here recently while visiting family in the area. This was a fun evening. The combination of small plates and larger entrees really lends itself to a group. Our party chose a number of small plates and two larger entrees. The food was interesting...More
