I must say the Raintree restaurant is hands down the best place to dine in the area. My husband surprised me by taking my family and I to dinner there for my birthday. Rich the chef / owner is amazing. He takes pride in his product for sure. They had a table decorated for me. The atmosphere is charming. Muriel,... More

We weren't sure where to dine...read some reviews on Google, and called another [competing] restaurant, who stated, even late in the season, that we couldn't have a table for several hours. We called up RainTree and she said, I'll hold a table for you right now! Everyone was so friendly and inviting, and the food was delicious! Our server Jana... More

I went to the Rain Tree Restaurant after my team ran (as a pit stop) in a Ragnar Relay Race. The food was delicious, the atmosphere fantastic- woodsy decor (Adirondacks). The owners came to our table and gave us very personal service. The husband is the cook and told us that if we didn't find what we liked on the... More

This is a quintessential throwback to what the Adirondacks is all about. The atmosphere is a nicely done log cabin with a good selection of meals to boot. I had the scrod with rice and veggie, and it was done perfectly. Afterwards my wife and I sat at the bar and just relaxed with a couple of wines. A place... More

I used to always come here when my family and I were in Lake George.. the last few times of eating here has slowly been more disappointing.. the owners are very sweet, they have a nice big bar and a pretty decent menu. Its a little on the pricer side. I usually order the spare ribs, but the last time... More

Stopped for dinner met with owners who were VERY ATTENTIVE to everyone at the restaurant. A lot of "smiles/" Also, many locals at the bar. Very friendly restaurant highly recommend.

We played mini golf till late, I called the restaurant at 9:30 to see if we were too late for dinner. They said "come on in!" It was quiet, we were the last diners. They didn't rush us at all, we had a great conversation with the bartender and the owner. They were so friendly, the calamari, ribs, salad and... More

Had heard some good things about the restaurant so we went on our first night there. Got seated right away. We all ordered, there were some minor substitutions, like potato or pasta instead of rice. 3 of the orders came out wrong. In one dish, there was a fly, another a hair. They took off 1/2 the order with the... More

We arrived rather late into Diamond Point, it was recommended that we try the Rain Tree. SO glad we did. We chose to eat at the bar, the ambience was amazing! The little bartender was nervous as it was her first day, but with guidance from the owner she did GREAT, forget her name, but she is going to do... More

We decided to try this restaurant on a whim. The location near but outside of Lake George Village gave us the convenience of close proximity but without all the crowds. The parking lot was a welcome change from the village parking spot search. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and allowed for leisurely laughs with close... More
