Cacciatore's has good Italian food at a fair price. We like it there. The services is good. Don't expect to be in and out in record time. This is not fast food. The Italian salad dressing is very very good. The bread is served hot. I have had a variety of different dishes and there was only one time I... More
Thursday's special is eggplant parm and believe me, it is SPECIAL ! Reminds me of my mother's so it must be made with love, fresh ingredients and homemade sauce.
It is usually so crowded here!!! Tonight we only had a 30 minute wait. My husband ordered the Pork Cutlet - 2 huge thin breaded pork cutlets - out of this world. At $17.95, it is a real deal!!! I ordered the Shrimp Scampi. A huge portion ($17.95) came out in a bowl - enough for 2 meals. Our salads... More
We had a birthday party for 20 people. Cacciatores does not take reservations...(not sure why..) Our guest of honor absolutely loves this restaurant, so ...at 80 years old, we went there...The dinner was very good...Our waitress tried very hard, but it was a lot for one individual... It was a happy evening for us...I did request to see the owner... More
Four of us went to Cacciatore's for dinner a few days ago. Everything was excellent - - service, quality and temperature of food, and variety. The salads were better than most places - mixed greens, carrots, onions, and the most delicious italian dressing ever. I had Shrimp Romana - unique take on seafood with pasta. Another of us had the... More
We tried Cacciatore's based on TA reviews and we're glad we did! We started out with drinks and an appetizer of the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella. YUM! We each had something different, veal cutlet, spaghetti with meat sauce and an order of penne vodka with a side of meatballs and all of our meals were delicious! Our waitress (wish I could... More
Outstanding food, service, overall experience. I had the seafood marinara over spinach--no pasta. It was fabulous! It's not on the menu, but you just have to ask and they'll do that for you. The bread was warm and crusty and delicious, but my favorite part of the meal was the balsamic vinaigrette. I could have drunk it, it was perfect.
Call it smart management. This place has grown over the past several years as one of the best neighborhood eateries in the area. Worth a drive from anywhere. Each night is a specialty with value and flavor at the top of the scale. I had the best char-broiled Swordfish I can ever remember. $21.95 including a salad and for just... More
