The Elmira Road in Ithaca is one of many Restaurant-Rows; lots of choices. I was hungry about lunch time and Spicy Asian was right there, so I tried it. All in all it was good. SPICY is an accurate representation. I'm not complaining, but it was SPICY. They have a $6.95 Lunch Special (I had to ask for that menu)... More

I ate here with my wife and daughter in October 2016. We had some hot and sour soup, which was excellent, and some egg rolls for appetizers. We ordered two main dishes -- one was from the Szechaun menu and one from the regular Chinese menu. I can't remember what we had but I do remember that the food from... More

We ordered Zong's Dumplings as an appetizer, it was delicious. As main course food: Cumin Beef, Cumin Lamb, Mongolian Beef, Scallop & Shrimp in garlic sauce, Frog Curry, Whole fish in Sweet & Sour sauce... everything was very good. Whole fish in Sweet & Sour is a must try for Fish Lovers!!! Mongolian Beef was a bit spicy but yummy.... More

The food here was great, and the service was, too. No problems with being slow as some have reported. I'd definitely recommend eating here.

My wife is from China and very demanding about the quality of any Chinese food we get when we go out. Spicy Asian is one of the few restaurants in Ithaca that satisfies her, and it's a regular favorite with many of the local Chinese community and foreign students as well. Forget the General Tso's Chicken and the other things... More

Upon the recommendation of a friend, my wife and I stopped to try the restaurant for the first time. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient and the booth's table surface passed my "sticky elbow" test with flying colors! (The sticky elbow test is what I use to judge the cleanliness of the table. When your elbows don't stick to... More

My daughter and I were visiting Ithaca for Cornell Days. We stayed at the Hampton Inn next door (hilariously, found this restaurant online and knew it was close, but not how close until we were in the car and saw it literally in the next building). The dining room is large and bright and tables (and booths) not too close... More

This place serves both a traditional menu and a separate Szechuan menu complete with a variety of boba teas. I am told that this is the place that local Asian Students head to when in the area. When you first sit down, you are offered metal chopsticks wrapped in napkins, as opposed to silverware. The cheese wantons had an amazing... More

Pathetic service. Waitress started cleaning and boxing food while we were eating and rushed us all along. We fond this extremely rude. Food is just average.
