One of my favorite meals is mussels and fries. This restaurant has done it the best. The mussels were piled high, and plump and juicy. So many fries that I had left over for the next day. My friend had a pasta meal that was also excellent. Service good. Cozy. Only criticism is that we were never given any bread,... More

I really like "The Dot." It's not so much comfort food as it is comfortable if you like a place that's a little edgy and also serves terrific pot pie, burger and fries. Outdoor patio is also really special in the warm months.

The Dot is always good and prices are fair. There's plenty of tables so you can usually get in even on the weekends. I've been eating here for about 2 years and its always good. That says a lot.

Owner manager the rudest I've ever experienced anywhere. Waiter was terrific. Good was just ok. Prearranged payment plan was messed up by the restaurant. Owner just threw up her hands and said it was our problem and walked off. Spoke very rudely to a member of our group. Left her waiter hanging out to dry. Astoundingly bad form. Would not... More

Went to dinner at the Red Dot a couple of nights ago. First time to visit there in a couple of years. Friend and I started off with a Thai beef salad appetizer. Quite tasty. My friend had a grilled chicken breast that looked and tasted first rate. I had grilled salmon that was okay, but somewhat overcooked. I would... More

This is my " girl's night out" go to place. Good cosmos, relaxed atmosphere, food is consistantly good. Excellent mussels and calamari. Wait staff is attentive, although some with more attitude than others. "Surly" is almost too kind to discribe a certain waitress, but I think this is her "Schtick". The Thai beef salad and curried vegetables are among my... More

There were 6 of us that ate here and we all enjoyed our meals. The waitress wasn't the most attentive but she was busy however we would go back again!

We are a fully licensed restaurant and bar that can accommodate 100 people in three areas, bar, dining room and garden, the latter can be separated as a wedding/party venue with it's own sound system and handicap accessible street entrance, we have been open for 15 years and have achieved a very good reputation as a neighborhood gathering spot. We are well priced and give good value for money.
