We have tested this restaurant three times and have been well satisfied with the food both times. Well, I ordered a dessert with chocolate fondant and it was over cooked so it was basically just chocolate cake. But it was no big deal. The restaurant has menu in English, witch is hard to find in Nosy Be. The staff is... More

A great French-Italian cuisine restaurant run by an Italian. Superb food at a (for Ambatoloaka but luckily not for Western standards) high price. Went there several times, the food, the location, and the service were always outstanding.

If you want to taste something special you can't miss it. The balance of colors, fantasy and local fresh ingredients result in astonishing dishes.

The food was SO good, the place is really cute, and their drinks were delicious. We had three main courses (grouper, squid ink ravioli, and another grouper!) along with several drinks each, and the bill was about $20 each. They also had filet and pastas... and the dessert was good too. The staff was lovely - the owner even translated... More

This restaurant would not look out of place in Europe and definitely is one of the best (if not the best) in the whole area, all this without looking out of place and retaining a certain African charm. The food was amazing: Luca, the owner, gave us a tasting menu, with various starters and Madagascan oysters before moving onto lobsters... More

Probably the nicest restaurant in Ambatoloaka, in terms of building/seating and food choices and presentation. Also possibly the most expensive. (Everything basically 20,000 Ar and up.) The service was really great, one waitress used English with us (though we're used to using Malagasy at restaurants, they didn't send us a Malagasy waitress, so we had to make do in English).... So I was staying at the royal beach hotel and stumbled onto this gem. The owners are awesome and they knew a little English which was a plus. The food was excellent. Lots of pasta and seafood. My friends and I continued to eat there for the next 6 nights with each visit being better than the last. Just ask... More

Discovered this gem a few days into my trip. Wound up eating there 6 nights in a row. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. The grouper, octopus salad, and oysters are some of the best seafood dishes I have had anywhere. Make sure to try the black pasta with seafood and the handmade pasta with mushrooms. There are... After seeing the top 4 restaurants on trip advisor wear to visit them all. Karibo, did not let us down, the food was scrumptious, the wine fantastic and the setting in the closed off street really quiet. A definite if you are going to Hellville.
