The Reuben sandwich was really good! We were told the corned beef was homemade and it was really lean and tasted wonderful.

Casual dining with diverse menu and brick oven pizza. This is a really fine restaurant and a wonderful upstate town that you will want to try.

This was our first visit to celebrate my brother-in-law Jack's birthday, they live out this way. We all ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their food. Our dishes included French Onion soup ( Jack thought it had a little to much cheese, my wife said there is no such thing as to much cheese), Salad with roasted chicken, chicken Dijon,... More

A Friday night, out with friends. We chose Hillsdale House, about an hour away from home. We entered through the bar, and it was full, must be the Friday night place to go. We started with wine and beer as usual. We ordered 2 Caesar salads, 1 cup of Tomato Bisque soup, and 1 house salad. Dressing was very good.... More

This restaurant never disappoint us. It is not expensive but the food is always good. They make a delicious appetizer of muscles in garlic sauce and the onion soup is also good. The restaurant looks like a hunting lodge and the service is pleasant.

They have a good selection of well-prepared and delicious food. Nothing overly fancy. Generous portions, competitive prices, interesting atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The food is fine but the service was dreadful the night we went. My first (and last) drink did not arrive until we finished our appetizers. It was only a beer - not some exotic cocktail. This is an area crying out for a restaurant/bar that does the simple things well so that it becomes a great local - right... More

This is noe of the few 'good ole' standbys in Columbia County. Two dining room: one country pubish, the other old country with plank floors, white curtains and Hancock style chairs Terrific burgers and absolutely fabulous Long Island Duckling. Friendly casual service

The only place in town that seemed to be open when we were visiting midweek, and the food was good! Friendly local bar where we had cocktails first. Any kind of food you could possibly want to eat was on the menu and the prices were reasonable. We enjoyed a bar pie and a steak and salad and went home... More
