The food was great! Drink was okay - service was good but server was not overly friendly - not rude just okay

We have celebrated two major events here with lovely dinners at Edgar's. On most recent visit we arrived early to enjoy a walk around the exterior of Belhurst Castle and visit the gift shop before sunset. Our server was well informed and delightful and the food was fabulous. We ordered the fixed price prime rib special that evening. There was... More

Edgar's is now a steakhouse and we brought our party of 4 here on Friday night. Delicious! We had French Onion Soup (the best), salads, Steak and also a Prime Rib that were both so tasty! Our waitress recommended Belhurst's wine (we were ordering other Finger Lakes wine and she said to try Belhurst's Dry Riesling and Pinot Noir). Both... More

Ate Brunch there. Very good but nothing spectacular. Felt like I had to eat more than I really wanted to so that I could get my moneys worth.Beautiful place. Definitely worth a try at least once.

We are new to the area and used to dining out on Christmas Eve. Geneva doesn't have too many places open, Belhurst is one of the few. We stared with punch and canapes in the lobby and then had some drinks at the bar. Very extensive wine and drink list (not surprising since Belhurst is also a winery). Food was... More

Have had many meals at Edgar's, from couples to family groups, along with overnight stays in The Castle's period guestroom/suites. Both are memories to enjoy and remember!

Loved the prix fixe dinner. It's very well prepared and a great deal. My wife and I had it as part of a weekday getaway package. We stayed in the new part of the hotel which had spacious, well-appointed rooms. Edgar's restaurant is very elegant and located in the original section of belhurst castle, a lovely and very historic building.... More

Bad food............tasteless. Lobster bisque...no lobster taste......Campbell's tomato soup served luke warm. Duck rare, no taste. Overcooked halibut. Across four dinners all were poor. Worst is outrageously high prices !

It's an excellent restaurant, and the price paid for the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners was an added gift, considering the gourmet food that was prepared and served!
