We had sandwiches. A fried fish sandwich and a falafel. The fish was good. Both served with a fried dill pickle. Both came with a salad on the warm plate with the sandwich.

We often eat here (sandwiches and lighter fare) each time we come to Seneca Lake, and the food is very tasty. Try the steak salad, the calamari, or the Cuban sandwich....all great choices. This past weekend, we just stopped and had a few drinks prior to eating at the Belhurst's fine dining restaurant Edgar's. It's the atmosphere that makes this... More

WE had a cheeseboard and sandwiches, they were tasty and the service was excellent! It was midweek so there ws only one other couple in the restaurant. The gift shop on premises had wine tasting available and a great selection of wines and other items.

If you are in the mood for something upscale, this beautiful pub in Belhurst Castle is the place. A full bar, great sandwiches, wrapped in a beautiful castle.

Just finished "lunch" at Stonecutter. I ordered the Waldorf Salad @ 13.95, with a cup of the so called Turkey Vegetable Rice soup. My husband had a Pastrami Sandwich. My salad contained a total of 2 ounces of grisly chicken, which looked like it came out of a can. About 3 ounces of romaine lettuce, and 3 chopped red grapes.... More

We enjoyed the steak chop salad and the seafood chowder in bread bowl, and both were very good. Service was OK, slightly slow. Atmosphere was traditional casual. We'd go there again.

Had read mixed reviews about Stonecutter's before we visited Geneva on vacation, but the allure of seeing Belhurst Castle and the views of the lake so we said let's give it a try for dinner. We liked the casual attire to dine in after a day of sightseeing. The prices were reasonable for a restaurant on a property such as... More

Dropped into Sonecutters at the Belhurst Castle for a late lunch. Lovely ambiance, superb view of the Seneca Lake and castle grounds. Very reasonably priced and delicious up scale pub fare. I had the haddock sandwich and my partner had the Hawaian Cuban sandwich, beautifully prepared, perfectly cooked and lovely fresh side salad. Bonus as a yummy deep fried pickle... More

Stopped at the beautiful Belhurst Castle on our way back to our B & B in Seneca Falls from a day in Watkins Glen. The place intrigued us and we appreciated the fact that there was a casual dining spot where we could have dinner dressed in jeans and we did not need a reservation. It was starting to get... More
