Stopped for a light lunch after a short hike. Nice atmosphere & excellent service by friendly & helpful waitress. My wife had sandwiches with lovely thick sourdough bread, while I had a large helping of soup, also with a good slice of bread. Would be even better on a warm day when you could enjoy the outside seating. We were... More

The farm shop has a fantastic range of fresh produce for sell. I look forward to my next visit. It's well presented and easy to park and access.

Good food however it's a bit over priced for what it is. I believe they charge a lot as there is no where else to go and get food

Went for tea etc after a walk with friends. Really nice place and good choice of food. However tables were not cleared very quickly and then not wiped clean. Service also a bit slow. Cakes were great but the pot of tea had a strange colour although tasted not to bad. Could be so good with a bit more attention... More

Four of us stopped here for lunch on Saturday, and although full, there wasn't too long a wait for a table. While waiting we could see the variety of meals being bought out and kept changing our mind what we were going to try, we all chose differently and no one was disappointed. The venison burger and fish pie were... More

We stopped on a Thursday afternoon, and had afternoon tea. The cakes & scones were delicious, and the location lovely. Friendly, good service. Great farm shop next door, deli & butchers & cook shop.

There is nothing better than finishing a walk in beautiful West Sussex and before driving home popping into the Cowdray Cafe for a cream tea!

Always stop here when husband visits Wests Woodward further on. Try to get there in time for breakfast. This is HUGE! None of the tired bacon and sausage that normally arrives in other places. Everything is local and has great taste. Some of the new smoothies and drinks look really interesting.. will have to try those next visit And of... More

We had a coffee break here halfway through a walk with our dogs from Midhurst. The farm shop was very well-stocked and fascinating to explore but our coffee and toasted teacakes were a ridiculous price, considering we had to sit outside with the dogs. We'd had exorbitant coffee and teacakes before, at Prince Charles' farm shop in Devon and put... More
