My husband and I are recent vegetarians. My son and his gf eat meat. What a joy to find this place! DH and I ordered brussels sprouts, asparagus and Pea/asparagus ravioli. All were excellent; the ravioli was a huge surprise. We expected the usual marinara with a few veggies. Instead, it was in a creamy pesto covered with delicious peas.... More

Wonderful chef, great server Emmett made for a wonderful evening! Hate to leave, without trying all the myriad of culinary treats. We shared:beef golgoghi skewers, smoked chicken spring rolls, salmon rolls, 1/2 chicken waffles and 1/2 day boat scallops...wow terrific all of them and then we topped it all off with the molten chocolate lava cake with salty caramel icecream...a... The Cellar was the perfect place to end our day after a long visit in the Corning museum of Glass. The dining room is comfortable and relaxed, tables are not too close together and service is quick and cheerful. We ordered a bottle of wine (excellent) and a charcuterie appetizer (salami, pate, olives and bread) which was just delicious, the... More

We were cruising Market Street our first night in town looking for a place to have dinner. As we were checking out the window menu some people came out after eating and said the place was amazing so we decided to go in. It did not appear to be swamped so we went to the hostess station. We told them... More

Nice atmosphere, lengthly wine & drink list. Tapas are creative and tasty and attractive presentation. Beet gyros, coffee cured smoke salmon, pork belly masa tortillas and calamari and asparagus with strawberries and arugula made up a good meal for five hungry eaters. Good variety of desserts. Attentive service. I can see why this is a popular and successful spot.

This was a place we found walking along market st. Glad we stopped. We shared a dinner plate of duck and it was excellent. Had a glass of wine with dinner and enjoyed the evening.

I've visited over 5 times in the past. Tonight, our waitress Mira (I think, because she didn't introduce herself), was abrupt, not helpful, and certainly not service oriented. My drive thru experience at Dunkin for coffee tops her guest experience scores. A dinner for three about $50/person, I'd expect better. Will likely go elsewhere in the future... which is too... Stopped in here for dinner on Thursday night during GlassFest. Got the immediate impression that the staff was overwhelmed (wait staff running all over and looking harried). Our server was pleasant and attentive despite the rush but the restaurant itself was extremely noisy (the bar area is loud and open) which detracted from the overall impression of the dining room.... The Cellar has really good vegan fair and craft beer. We chose to try the vegan pot-stickers (very delicious), veggie sushi (very smoky but good) and the vegan tree nut cheese platter (spirulina, herbed chevre and truffle). All of these dishes we excellent! For beverages I chose two local IPAs which were excellent as well!

My husband and I visited this restaurant on our visit to Corning. It has a fresh and eclectic menu that incorporates local ingredients. It is a fine dining experience because of the great menu and beyond attentive staff but still has a casual neighborhood feel. They also have a bunch of fantastic wines by the glass! Best dining experience we... More
