You're first met by a beautiful building that looks right out of the middle ages! But be prepared - this place does a lot of business, both on the food and beer end, and things could take awhile. We arrived an hour after they opened on a Saturday and they already had a 1 hour wait for lunch, and a... More

Great beer, great food and everything was very reasonably priced. We enjoyed our drinks and dinner outside with and absolutely beautiful view, I can only imagine what it's like here in the fall.

My wife and I hit the tasting room while the boys meandered around out back. Brewery tour is short and sweet. Good stop if you like beer.

We arrived at the brewery and were a little confused as to where we should park. The gravel parking lot was full so I asked someone in the shop and they said we should park out in the field beside the parking lot...all good there. Before going into the restaurant we sat outside and had a few beers. It was... More

Beautiful location and a great place to stop, especially in the fall. Food is very good and moderately priced. Particularly good is the chicken and waffle. Beer sampler available. Tours are offered although they book up early. Service is generally slow and it takes forever to get your food and the check.

Visited after going to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Enjoyed a tasting of many of there brews and then enjoyed a lovely lunch in their pub restaurant. The food was very good but it did take over 1 hr for our food to be served after we ordered. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed tasting the variety of... More

Our family stopped by for lunch before going to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Advice get there early because this place gets busy. The beer is outstanding and the chicken and waffles was a surprise at how good the mixture of flavors could be. The only con was the inside temperature was cold enough to cause us to buy long... Brewery Ommegang has been on my bucket list for quite some time. When we were going to be in the area for a week at Cooperstown All-Star Village (CASV) for my son my friends and I definitely wanted to get to Ommegang. When we pulled into the parking lot and I saw their trademark building I felt like a kid... More

We hadn't been here for a number of years and what a difference. The brewery has expanded tremendously with a new building that has a great bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. So many more selections of great beer too!!

Ommegang was a major party when we got there on the Saturday of HOF weekend. There had to be thousands of people hanging out there inside and out. Didn’t take too long to get a beer and it was good. There were people tent camping on site and outdoor music. Cool spot.

Ommegang is hard to pronounce but easy to find. Located just five miles south of Cooperstown, NY, our farmstead brewery is open year-round for daily tours and tastings. An intimate walking tour puts you right on the brew floor amidst the sights and sounds of brewing in action. Our tour guides will help you discover how superior ingredients and time-honored methods like open fermentation and warm cellaring produce better tasting beer. But don't take our word for it, taste them for yourself. In addition to free tours, inexpensive tastings of six of our award-winning ales are available. Afterwards, stay for a meal at Cafe Ommegang. The cafe offers a full menu of Belgian-inspired cuisine plus more Ommegang beers as well as Duvel imports from Belgium. Relax with a picnic lunch or toss the Frisbee on our beautiful 136-acre brewery grounds. Ommegang has special events all year long, including the "Belgium Comes to Cooperstown" beer festival in August, athletic events, holiday events, family events, cultural events, and a summer concert series. Handicapped parking, entry and toilets available. Group tours available. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day, and also for occasional special events. Closures are listed on website.
