We tried their sinigang na baboy and sinampalukang manok which were cooked in a bamboo stem or known as "kawayan". Of course their rice were also cooked inside a kawayan. Food: it was excellent! Real sampaloc was used in cooking the sinigang. Rice is also great! Place: not that much... Dont expect too much since this place's motif is more... More

Spent the weekend at Subic to celebrate and went to search for a place to have lunch. We came across Kawayan Kitchen's flyer at the hotel's reception and thought that it would be quite interesting to experience how this restaurant uses bamboo to cook food. Searched online for reviews and chanced upon this voucher valued at Php 500 for half... More

I'm a real foodie and trying their bamboo rice and sinampalukang manok, the bestsellers, for the first time is such a wonderful experience to my hungry tummy. The smell, the taste and the value is really worth the distant drive. Gonna come back sooooner. And kudos to their servers, polite and really attentive! Two thumbs up, Guys!!

Food tasted fresh. The presentation was nice, too. Orders arrived faster than expected even though there were a lot of customers that day. Try their inihaw na liempo, it's very good.

I've eaten a lot on our visit here. The rice is served fresh from the bamboo and the meals i love the sinampalukang manok also cooked in the bamboo. You can also ask them to see where they cook the food.

The prices of the food are affordable BUT! the food soooo delicious I even crave for it and thinking of going back. The rice was served in the bamboo and cooked from it too! The server will open the bamboo just in front of you. Great experience!

This restaurant does not look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you. The food is so delicious. I was amazed when the waiter poured out the contents of a segment of bamboo and out came this beautiful pork sinigang. The white rice also was cooked in bamboo. The fried chicken was nicely, lightly fried. The pancit... More
