We used Trip Advisor to search for somewhere to grab lunch. When we drove in we were not sure if this was the right place. It's in a split level house, but the huge patio area was impressive, so we went in. So glad we did! Excellent beer selection and the food was delicious. The service was very good. We... More

Stopped for lunch on the way to Montreal. Cool place! The pub sandwiches were great, I had the best sweet potato fries I've ever tasted, and the building itself was a labyrinth of quaint small rooms. Food was good and environment was interesting.

Tonight was one of those night you dream about in February. So we headed to Powers Pub and sat outside. We started with the Frickles - fried pickles and banana peppers with a ranch like dipping sauce. And truth be told, we actually started with a beer (hubs) and a moscato (me). Hubs got the fish and chips and I... More

Delicious food. I had a perfectly cooked burger. My friends had a turkey sandwich a Chicken basil sandwich. The sides were very tasty too. I didn't try a bar drink so I can't say anything on the alcoholic beverages. The only reason I scored them like I did was the lack of staff. It was a Saturday afternoon and they... More

This was our groups first venture to this pub. Nothing like eating in a converted farmhouse built in 1786 complete with crooked floors & rickety chairs. What fun!!!!! The Calamari was outstanding with a drizzle of Balsamic vinegar to add a little sweetness. Most of our group had huge burgers complete with fries & onion rings. My hubby thought the... More

This is a building that was built in the late 1700's. You need to be careful walking around as the floors slope in different directions...obvious foundation problems. There were 6 of us that stopped in for lunch and the food was very good. We had the meatloaf, reuben and their turkey sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Staff is very friendly.... More

I wasn't so impressed my first visit, but have been back 5 times since and each time has been a good experience. The drinks, food and staff are all reliably good. The restaurant is very clean. Definitely will return!

Met friends drank a few beers and had dinner. Atmosphere great for getting together for fun. Place is easy to get to with ample parking. Beer selection reasonable size a good fresh taste. Food is good, but more American pub than Irish. So if you are looking for pure Irish food, this may not be the place. If you are... More
