I booked a room here via Expedia and realized I booked the wrong date. Instead of refunding me since I said I wasn't coming well in advance, they refused. I then when to expedia and asked them to advocate on my behalf as I was paying for a hotel that weekend in another city. Expedia tried to work with the... More

Been there quite a few times and loved the service, food, and atmosphere. I suggest you try the steak pie!

A group of 10 of us (including 2 kids) stopped in The Brae Loch after a lacrosse tournament. It was approximately 4:15 pm when we arrived at the restaurant. They were open, but kitchen didn't open until 5:00. We decided to wait and sat down at the bar for a drink and cheese & crackers. Hank the bartender told us... More

The assortment of food at this Easter brunch is amazing. If you leave here hungry it is truly your own fault. It is beautifully displayed and replenished all day long. The owners, wait staff and everyone make your day as special as they possibly can. It has a very comfortable atmosphere and we met some people at the next table... More

We visited on early on a Thursday for dinner. We had a lovely time at the bar and enjoyed the complimentary cheese & crackers. They were in the midst of training staff...not a problem we all had to start somewhere. We split the small Caesar salad which was very good and we both decided to order a steak which is... More

We love the Brae Loch Inn. We go to the Brae Loch often on date nights or with our whole family. We even had our wedding reception here in 2009! Stayed overnight last summer for my birthday and going to stay there again this weekend for a romantic get away. We are of Scottish/British ancestry, so we enjoy the atmosphere.... More

For the third time, my wife's Holiday Party was at this restaurant. It is not handicap accessible, so if you are handicapped, they don't want you here. We were directed to a room upstairs to the right for our party of 16. The room was very dark. We had to use flashlights to see the menus. I ordered clam chowder... More

I have eaten here many times, and I have always enjoyed the food and the friendly service. Main courses tend to be big and come with either a soup or salad, so I never get to try their appetizers, which is unfortunate. The other thing I wish they had is a kids menu. We ordered mac and cheese for our... More

For years we have been coming here for Thanksgiving and Easter. The buffet is outstanding, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting and the staff is top notch. We have never been disappointed. They also offer a great Sunday brunch. No stop is complete without a visit to the gift shop. Make a weekend of it and stay at the Inn.

We planned on trying to go to The Brae Loch Inn on our way home (we had tried on other occasions, but they were closed). This time they were open for dinner and it was delicious! I ordered the T-bone steak special, it was prepared quickly and properly as ordered. A very filling and happy experience!
