We stopped for lunch, and we are really impressed with the food and the atmosphere, friendly Greek host with a lot of great conversation topics. I would definitely visit again, and or recommend to friends. The chicken Luigi was absolutely delicious.

We have gone there a couple of times, never to return. Poorly run, food is unpredictable, not overly clean.

I was a bit unsure how good this pizza would be, since this is a Mom & Pop restaurant, not a hip spot. Im a bit picky because ive eaten pizza all over Italy. Buy i was pleasantly surprised. The pizza had local sausage and sweet red bell peppers. Amazing. The older Greek gentleman owner and sweet Albanian lady fussed... More

A stop in Canajoharie included dinner. We had our hearts set on a pizza, but not just any pizza. I am a west coast person and my wife is from near Chicago. The problem we find is that when we visit the east coast we find only thin crust and nasty style pizza to be available. Unfortunately, that is exactly... More

I have family in Canajoharie and we have dinner here on every visit. We usually have pasta dinners. There is no problem changing a dish when I say I have an allergy. I love the family feeling but also love the whole dining experience which is why we go to a restaurant! Mercato's is very near the Thruway exit to... More

This place is a gem and we were so glad to find it! Family still talking about it days later. Delicious homemade pizza, pasta, sandwiches and soups. Excellent quality, reasonable prices, and a very nice owner who chatted with us a few times during our meal. We had garlic bread, salad, chicken noodle soup, pasta fagioli soup, spinach cannelini, pizza... More

Too bad. We really need a good pizza shop somewhere within 25 miles. This is not it. Service was not very good either. Maybe it was a bad day for them. Only went here once.

Mercato's is Mama's cooking in the best sense. I love the stuffed peppers, the moussaka and pizza. There are other delicious items on the menu - linguini and salmon Alfredo. Desserts are brought out on a tray to choose from. A cup of Albanian coffee can be had. The owner is warm and friendly. The atmosphere relaxing and comfortable. Prices... More

my mom and I visited one time this year. The pizza was horrible. Never go back. Service was very slow and the pizza was tasteless. It looked like the owners did the cooking and serving themselves. That certainly didn't help the amount of time it took to get the food.
