What a great find! Wonderful service and amazing food. They accommodated food allergies very quickly, could be patiently, while serving amazingly wonderful food. We were there for breakfast and it was fabulous.

When we discovered the Diner had closed, we walked a few doors down since we saw folks dining sidewalk style. Omelette with cheese and spinach with homemade roasted potatoes with garlic and baguette for $9.95 plus coffee was very good. You order at the counter...More
The Roundhouse Bakery & Cafe is the place to go in Cambridge for community, for culture, for great food and for pizza night! The owners Scott and Lisa are lovely and it's the positive energy that makes out of towners like me go out of...More
Jennifer, thanks for your review and for your vote of confidence in our cafe. You really "get" what we are about and we are grateful to you for saying so... Hope to see you again soon!
While this bakery/cafe does not describe themselves as "members only," well, perhaps they should. My past experiences have involved inordinate amounts of waiting (even for a small town), ambivalent service, and unhygienic food. Before tonight, I had not visited in the past couple of years,...More
Here’s the truth about the “incident” described in this review: - Carpenter ants are huge and quite visible sometimes a half inch long. They eat wood to make room for their nests, they are rarely, if ever, found in farm-fresh salads. We have never heard...More
My wife and I had the privilege of eating at this lovely establishment! The people that work here are so nice and the food is an unforgettable experience. They make this breakfast sandwich that has caramelized onions and just melts in your mouth. Their bacon,...More
After arriving late at night at Cambridge, we were starving on the following morning, and we drove right pass this Cafe and Bakery, it looked like a happening place as its parking lot was full, and there's a constant flow of people going into its...More
Our first choice in town was closed. The Round House is not obvious. In an old bank, you enter through the side door. Our timing was impeccable, the line started just as we ordered. You are handed a small handmade stand-up sign to put on...More
Rode our bikes to Cambridge and had picked out another place for our stopping point. It was more diner than cafe, so we went into the Round House. The architecture is great, with dark wood furniture and accents. The food was delicious and the staff...More
Round House Cafe seems like the heart of the little town of Cambridge. I think it is. From the moment you walk in the door, a friendly face and home baked goods greet you. The smell is homey and cozy. I have had the pleasure...More
Such a shame, so much potential. Extremely unfriendly staff, no a/c, take out orders usually packed incorrectly. Workers wandering around aimlessly, they will ignore customers standing at the counter or look at them with a surly expression. Surprised they've lasted this long, I suppose it's...More
Dear Doug from Katonah, Thank you for taking the time to review our cafe, though we are very concerned about your observations. We take pride in every aspect of our cafe - our food preparation, our atmosphere - and our staff. Reading other reviews of...More
