Found Ann & Tony's via app on smartphone. When we walked in, the bartender was not very attentive but told us we could sit anywhere. Service was slow but everything else was very good. Restaurant was almost empty.

Food is very good. Late dinner. Was not busy but food was hot and fresh. Very good bread and dipping oil. Will be back.

The owners of Ann & Tony's Restaurant pride themselves in treating their customers like family, and they do it with aplomb. The atmosphere is comforting and the staff is welcoming and gracious. But the food (the FOOD!) is sensational. The restaurant is located in a favorite neighborhood, Little Italy the Bronx. Here, the streets are lined with excellent Italian restaurants,... More

1st time. Party of 6, Asked for a dinner without wheat, dairy and eggs. Ordered the recommended calimari fra diavlo and broccoli rabe wth olive oil and garlic. Was served calimari wth marinara sauce, over spaghetti, and string beans in butter. They scrapped the calimari from the pasta (remnants of pasta remained), offered to bring red pepper flakes (never arrived),... More

Have been going to Arthur Avenue for years but never knew about this restaurant until recently. Its been around forever and apparently hasn't changed much. The people were as nice as could be and really cared how you enjoyed the food. The service was excellent as was the food. No frills or highly decorated presentations. This is not fine dining... First time there, we arrvived at noon which is the scheduled opening time. We seated promptly. Food was great, service was ok, didn't get the warm welcoming from our server or our bus person. The shrimp appetizer was good 5 shrimp, and cocktail suace served nicely with bed of lettuce.$15.00. The roasted garlic and pepper olive oil was served with... More

Run by 4th generation brothers, Chef Anthony and Ralph, everyone is made to feel a part of the family. Food is all made on premise and melts in your mouth. Don't miss Oldies Night where the band from A Bronx Tale performs the movie's songs and tells the untold story of the making of the movie.

My husband and I ate here with our son & his friends- students at nearby Fordham University- every time we were there in the Bronx. Move-in/out days & always a visit in March. We had pasta with bolognese sauce, homemade sausage, fried mozzarella, meatballs, ravioli and all were outstanding. Only wish our son was still there! We'll be going back soon-... More

We met with a group of six. We wanted a place that we could sit and chat without being rushed. We did just that, for 2 1/2 hours. The restaurant was somewhat busy but they never really needed our table. The bread was to die for! That was about it. All entrees were bland. Nothing special at all. Desserts were... More

As an Italian myself I rarely like anything but home cooking. Ann and Tony's has changed that. The food is amazing. The service perfect. The decor wonderful. There's a reason it's been an Arthur Ave mainstay for 90 years.
