We went for a birthday lunch with about 8 people we had 2 hours for the lunch (workday). It took over an hour and 15 min to order and be served. We all had to get back to work. Food was good not great Atmosphere was beautiful but service was terrible.

This is a long time favorite for us. Never disappointed in 25 years - that's saying a lot! Succulent shrimp always, the aromas greet you as you walk from the parking lot. Good ambiance, view in the downstairs section overlooking the creek.

It was a great surprise to find this interesting complex of what seemed to be three different restaurants in Bearsville that share the same parking lot. We went with this Chinese restaurant and enjoyed it more for its great location overlooking the creek than for the food which was only average. Still we were glad we came here.

This is an interesting spot. Located near Bearsville/ Woodstockit shares the lot with WDST Radio and the Little Bear restaurant. The food is good though it can be a little pricey it is worth the visit.

While not the best Chinese food, the ambiance of the outdoor dining deck on the babbling brook made it taste better. The service was very good and the music from the bar next door was pleasant and made for a very enjoyable dinner. We will go back if we find ourselves in the area again.

Heard the Bear changed hands. Used to love to go there. Took bff for birthday. First thing - told waitress she was allergic to shrimp so if she ordered something with shrimp to let us know. She ordered a vegetable egg roll. as did I. we both got shrimp rolls and she had to take meds right away. great start.... More

Years ago, Little Bear was so much fun- the streamside tables are still so pretty and alluring they seduce you into eating their lousy cold noodles which are disintegrating much. The Bear Cafe is usually much better- in the same complex.

Five of us went to lunch. They offer several different things than the usual Chinese menu. Delightful ambiance. Waiter was indifferent. Food was served much too quickly but it was good. Everyone was pleased especially with the bbq spareribs. I don't know if they have dessert. I was about to inquire when I was handed the bill. Lovely spot. Rating... More
