Had the lunchtime celebration menu. All very very good. Surroundings amazing and service great. If you have never eaten in a stately home then this is a must!

Beautiful house and grounds. Lovely afternoon tea with all the trimmings. Very tasty sandwiches, cakes and scones and a choice a lovely teas and coffees. But beware as it also costs also £38 per head!
We had dinner and breakfast as paying hotel guests. We enjoyed both and found staff polite and attentive on both occasions. Food was very good and we never felt rushed.
Beautiful estate but the rooms are extremely old fashioned and not very fresh-looking. I'm sure it was all luxurious in the 80s but now it just needs a complete refurbishment. Dinner was the biggest disappointment with high ambitions but in the end just an example...More
