We came here to eat and to look over Elephant Butte lake (our first time coming) and found out the restaurant close - doing renovations - should be back open for business in 2017.

Not much to say! It is an Historic Site that once was visited by celebrities and the famous. An essential part of NM growth, but it is just neglected.

There were 5 of us & 3 were satisfied, 1 ate 1/4 of what she got on 2nd attempt & took 3/4 home to dogs & 5th person declined overcooked burger twice. Server was very apologetic. Found out from hostess that burger was frozen not fresh & that was why they couldn't help but overcook it. Won't rush back anytime... More

Not worth the drive.. Bartender..I think his name was randy... Was a joke. Couldn't catch his attention long enough to get a drink order in or really catch his name. I heard a server say it and even then I dunno if that was his or the guy next to him. Wasn't even busy but it just seemed the bartender... More

I was very impressed with the food here, wasn't sure what to think because the prices were so reasonable. Beer battered cod and shrimp plate only $10.99 and the best ever piña coladas. Service was great, very personable, and the patio is huge and overlooks the Marina and all the boats and the Rio Grand River and the Large rock... More

The title kind of says it all. Having high hopes that this restaurant would have improved when it reopened, I was disappointed. The food was not good, the odor and feeling of dampness was everywhere. The fly infestation insured I would not return here.

This place has decent burgers (but lousy fries) and service, although our server did make a mildly snide comment about the beer brand our friend ordered. Even though it's just recently reopened, it has a bit of a down-at-the-heels vibe. The bathroom by the bar was filthy at lunchtime -- evidently no one had cleaned or restocked it since the... More
