From out of town. Reviews for restaurant seemed decent. Went over American Thanksgiving weekend. Restaurant was full, but they seated us at the bar (literally at the bar). Bartender was nice enough, kept telling quirky stories. Unable to provide us with any suggestions on wine...More

Our group of 4 went for a Sunday brunch. No-one greeted us, so we found our own table. After a while we were given menus and met our waiter who seemed very personable. We all ordered our meals, and then waiting for quite a while,...More

I was so pleasantly surprised by my visit to Martyrs. I don't eat red meat and there were many other choices for me. I had a fantastic fish 'n chips. Great service in a charming setting. Right in the middle of Taos!! Can't wait to...More

The staff were friendly, but the quality of the food was not indicative of the price. My lamb chops were okay but my wife’s ribeye steak was a poor cut and they are suppose to be a steakhouse. Not in my top ten.

Two couples in the restaurant and we waited over 30" for huevos rancheros and a chicken sandwich. It was around 12:30 for Sunday brunch. Pretty much deserted. Manager came over after server expressed our dismay about the wait. She apologized for the cook and offered...More

Our dinner was for an anniversary meal so we were hoping for good food and atmosphere. The building appears to be an old house and was set up nicely for food service. We enjoyed the caprese salad and split it. Very fresh and a lot...More

Had a great dinner with friends at Martyrs. We shared the sampler trip to start, which had fried mushrooms, shrimp and BBQ chicken--more than enough for three to share. Our entrees were all very good, including the trout, lamb salad and sesame crusted salmon. Everything...More

We do allow leashed dogs on the patio! It is a popular spot for dog lovers in the warm months.
