Yes, there really was a Doc Martin and this restaurant located in the Historic Taos Inn was the original home of the good doctor. The reviews on Tripadvisor were somewhat variable and I was a bit hesitant about eating here. But we were staying at...More

I have eaten here for perhaps 30 years, and I have always known that the service has been marginal but the food very good. This last time the service was over the line: it was practically non-existent, with the staff disappearing into the kitchen (or...More

My wife and I celebrated via a early dinner at Doc Martin's. The entire experience was positive, from making reservations to an exit amid live music. We both started with Green chile. My wife ordered the much-lauded rellenos, and I the lamb shank. We finished...More

Yummy food, nice service, but it's located upstairs, so keep that in mind if you don't like to do stairs. Balcony overlooks the central plaza, and is surrounded by quaint southwestern-style architecture and shops.

Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Food was very good but a little more spicy than some might be used to but great in any event.

Love this place, Marabella was an excellent server, green chile bread pudding is a highlight. Servings are NOT skimpy! We'll be back!

Great food, friendly staff, and great margaritas. Live band most nights. Parking was in the rear, down a narrow alley next to the Taos Inn.

On a long road trip, and although it's good, we couldn't take one more Southwestern meal. We had the two specials, swordfish with kale and quinoa, and filet with crispy fried onions. I ordered the filet rare and it was perfect. The Swordfish was tender...More
