Food at Doc Martin's was good they have a lot of option included local specialities. However not a huge number of vegetarian options. I had the pasta of the day made vegetarian with roasted vegetables in a buttery sauce with fettuccine. The only vegetarian main dish was battered chiles with rice and beans and was $25. It was quite pricey.... More

Don't miss when in Taos. Good drinks, good music, and good food....what makes it even better is an eclectic mix of locals and tourists.

We stumbled upon the restaurant, and we loved it! The service was adequate, margaritas were strong and food was great. Here is the deal: you may be experience a bit of sticker shock depending on your means. But, they have an affordable bar menu. My order of small nachos could have fed three adults! A great place to enjoys drinks... More

My husband were famished after a long hard day on the bike. We arrived to the plaza rather late looking for a place to eat. We didn't realize how early most places closed but happened upon Doc Martin's. The staff seated us and never once made us feel rushed. The green chili sauce was the best by far that we... More

We happened to be next door enjoying at the Adobe Inn's live music and wonderful margaritas when we decided to have dinner. The hostess was very friendly and did not take issue with us for not having a reservation for Saturday dinner. We were promptly seated with a great waitress in the room with the bar. Our waitress was very... More

We especially like the Green Chile with pork and the Green Chile and Lime Cheesecake. The trout was average, I preferred the pork ribs.

This is not a buffet brunch. But it did have great entrees. I had the parmesan asparagus omelette and it was cooked to perfection.

We had the chili rellenos with goat cheese, which this place is known for. They were quite spicy and had a nice crunch on the outside. But flavor was just so-so. Chips weren't very good. Beans and rice were barely passable. Get the chili relleno under the Starters part of the menu if you want a smaller portion (which was... More

We ate at Doc Martins for dinner when we stayed too long in town to do anything else. The dinner was Northern New Mexico which isn't Tex/Mex but still closely aligned with Mexican restaurants. Our dinners were good but we had better in other Taos restaurants. I thought the food was kind of pricey for what it was (standard). I... More
