Had dinner last night at the Gorge Bar and Grill located upstairs inside the Taos Plaza. Nice modern setting and well prepared and presented American cuisine with a New Mexican accent.

On Monday evenings in October, not everything is open in Taos. The Gorge Bar was near our B & B so it was our first choice. And it was really good! No outstanding gourmet food, but solid very good pub food. I had the pesto...More

When it's busy in downtown Taos it can be difficult to find a place to eat without having to wait a long time. The Gorge is a good option for salads, sandwiches, appetizers and beer and they usually have adequate space to handle crowds. If...More

Great food. Good service. Initially wanted to eat at another restaurant but it was closed. A lady from a shop recommended since we have family members that didn’t want southwestern food. Everything we ordered was incredible!!

I will recommended the Mahi-Mahi Tacos as the meal to order. They may very well be the best I ever had. The Left Hand Stout Float is also recommended with Choc. ice cream. The Sweet Potato fries are excellent too! Service could be greatly improved...More

The location and patio are great. The wait staff was bad. It took us 1.5 hours to get two margaritas and an order of chips. Both were mediocre. Our friends showed up late and waited over 30 minutes to get served and never did so...More

Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. We had mahi mahi fish tacos, crème brûlée, cream of spinach soup. There is a nice selection of tap beers and drinks and margaritas.

I ordered soup and a dessert, and sample tasted the entree ordered by my companion. I ordered the dessert after asking whether the whipped cream was out of a can or freshly whipped in the kitchen. The server said it was the latter, which, when...More

This place is kinda special, with an amazing location, a casual but sophisticated atmosphere, and a jaw-dropping beer menu. The bartender knows his business and the food is good, with a menu for everyone. Small-town wait service is rarely first class but the staff seems...More

The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are excellent; The Bison Sliders were supurb. The balcony overlooking the Plaza is a wonderful place to watch the activity in the Plaza - the only outdoor eating on the Plaza. They have a full bar, and excellent staff who are all very jazzed about being part of this new venture. It is a definite place for a simple but interesting meal.
