We wanted to get something besides Mexican/Southwestern food adn pizza sounded good. We couldn't have been more happy that we found this place. It was packed with locals and for good reason. The pizza was great, as was the salad (a delicious dressing). Would return if we found ourselves locally again.

We were looking for a casual place for an early dinner on New Year's Eve and Pizanos was recommended. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. It is a small place and we saw several people coming in for take out orders. We ordered appetizers and salads. All were beautifully presented and all were delicious, especially the spinach salad. The... More

While making our yearly trip to Taos to visit family, my husband and my parents decided to try out this pizza place. First off, the food was ok.The prices were way too expensive for the pizza to just be ok, even in Taos. Now, the service...I will say that it took some time for our orders and drinks to be... More

We were here visiting Red River and decided to go for a drive. Came across this place and gave it a try. Antipasto was excellent and large for the price. We were able get 1/2 and 1/2 of two of their signature pizzas on one crust. Great food, wine and service. Definitely recommend.

Fun place to eat, love the atmosphere, outdoor seating is great. Just expect to drop a lot of money to enjoy it as they are overpriced on a lot of items.

We went on a Friday night, and there were five of us. So two strikes getting in. Waited 40 minutes, but we expected that. But rather than giving us menus to ponder while we waited, nothing. Even after we were seated we had to ask for menus. Took drink order immediately (where else do they make a profit?), but, again,... More

Pizaños has some of the BEST pizza in the area. Many different combinations, from traditional to gourmet, and with lots of vegetarian options. On our waitress' recommendation, I had the "Milky Way": sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, walnuts, caramelized onions, mozzarella and chèvre goat cheese on a sun-dried tomato & garlic oil base. It was awesome! Their crust is delicious too--much... More

What a gorgeous view of the mountains from the restaurant patio. We stopped to order pizza to go (cheese with mushrooms) and while we waited had a drink on the patio (T had a beer, I had a Agave wine margarita--very refreshing). Pizza crust was thick and crunchy, sauce was perfect with the right amount of spices. Staff were friendly... More

This is the BEST of Taos, as it was voted again by our local newspaper. We always enjoy easy dining there, best friendly staff, GREAT food and gorgeous views. This is a DON"T MISS on anyone's visit to Taos ... or of course for those locals who have been under a rock and don't know about the best pizza and... More

Pizanos has great food. The pizzas are very interesting, nice ingredient combinations and different types crusts to chose from. Yes, they are pricey but not disappointing. (Taos has always had great gourmet pizza places, but it costs) The salads are absolutely delicious, especially the house. They have reasonable lunch prices and a nice outdoor patio. The selection of appetizers is... More
