I've been through Santa Rosa quite a few time and never stopped. I'll be stopping again for Joseph's Dinner though. This is what I picture when I think if old Route 66. Food and service were great.

The interior of this restaurant was a yesteryear experience: pink and turquoise vinyl seats and formica table tops. The food was tasty and it was just fun eating in this unusual place!

We choose here because they had beer. Everyone seemed to like their food. Was not overly impressed with the adobado sauce but it wasn't bad just weird flavor. Kid friendly and they had a nice souvenir shop. They let us order pizza in the cafe too.

Service was great, food was hot and tasty. We ordered American fare so don't know how the Mexican food was. No problems with rest rooms. And the home made desserts....to die for. Took home a piece of lemon meringue pie.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Joseph's. Authentic New Mexican food , fresh and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Tortilla was particularly tasty. Costs were average. Highly recommend you stop in for good eats and lots of Route 66 nostalgia.

Free chips and salsa. Husband ordered green chili enchiladas with beef. God red chili with chicken. I had tacos with beans. Beans were cold and food was bland. No seasoning at all. Burgers were frozen patties with frozen fries. Go elsewhere. Not good for $20.00+ for lunch.

My wife and I left before ordering. Hostess had her screaming kid at another table. I used a very smelly and dirty men's room then tried to read menus made on a copy machine. A had a very uncomfortable feeling so we left before ordering.

We stayed at the LA Loma motel which is next door to Josephs. The manager of the motel suggested it for dinner. We were very happy with it. The staff was friendly and we were seated right away. The food was good and plenty of it. They also have a gift shop inside for last minute trinkets while traveling.

We arrived right at noon and were quickly seated.Quickly, received our drinks, sauce and chips. A little wait for food, but that just gave us time to enjoy our margaritas. Enchilada dinners were very good and service was friendly & helpful. We will be back next time we're in Santa Rosa.

Thank paradiseag
