Quick stop for some dinner after being on the road all day. We ordered the chile poblano and taco platters. The rice was inedible and the beans were not very tasty. Both look like they had been sitting out all day in their little dishes. Not sure that the outer breaking on the poblano was fully cooked - it was... More

For snowbirds traveling from the upper midwest to Arizona - and back - there are not a lot of routes to take. There are also few choices of towns and cities in which to overnight. Sant Rosa, New Mexico is a very popular stop on I-40, and the town features many chain motels. There is also a small park in... More

This is a very nice lunch stop when traveling because it is right off of route 40. This seems to be a popular local establishment where the waitresses know the names of their customers. The service was good, the place is clean and the food is better than average. All in all a good stop while on the road.

Had lunch here. Food was average. Ordered a hamburger, but they only come well done (wanted it medium). Service was normal. Our waitress was good.

The staff was very friendly and brought our food out quickly. I had the beef enchilada while hubby had the combo platter. The food was very good, plentiful portions and reasonably priced. I asked the waitress which chile sauce to go with and she brought both. I preferred the green chile but it was lacking in the actual green chiles. The... More

Good Mexican food and there were a few other menu choices as well. We were served quickly and the waitress can back several times to refill drinks and check on us.

While staying at the Days, the Santa Fe was recommended to us for dinner, I looked at reviews on Trip Adviser, and was unsure I wanted to eat there. But because it was so close we decided to just walk across the lot. I had shrimp fajitas and my husband had ground round steak, our food was very good tasting,... More

As others mention, the nearby Hotel recommended it. First the highlights. Small, well decorated clean place with very friendly staff. As others have also mentioned, the Green Chile (and the waitress told me also the Red) has a lot of ground beef or pork in it. Tasted OK to me but the wife really disliked it. They really should explain... More

I ordered the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. The green sauce was mostly ground beef and not much green chili or green chili flavor, just heat. Since this is New Mexico and the quality of your Hatch green chili sauce should be a reflection on the overall quality of your establishment I only gave it two stars overall. Otherwise the... More

The hotel we stayed in recommended this restaurant..really don't eat here. The nacho platter had some type of Velveeta or cheese wiz on it..not a good sign. We both ordered Taco platters, we waited a long time for our nachos and drinks. We never got the tacos, we got tired of waiting and left. We went to Dairy Queen and... More
